At Pack 495 in the  East Renton Highlands, volunteers are a big part of what makes Cub Scouting fun and safe. They help kids learn new things, try adventures, and enjoy time with friends.

You don’t need to know anything about Scouting to help. We welcome all kinds of volunteers—parents, grandparents, older siblings, and family friends. If you’re ready to help, we’ll show you how.

Here are some ways you can help:

  • Den Leaders work with small groups of kids on simple, hands-on activities.

  • Cubmasters lead the big pack meetings and bring energy to the group.

  • Committee Members help plan events, keep track of schedules, and organize supplies.

  • Event Helpers support field trips, hikes, races, and campouts.

  • Parent Helpers bring snacks, set up tables, or help with crafts and games.

You don’t need special skills. We’ll give you tips and training to get started. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we appreciate every volunteer.

Helping out with Pack 495 is a fun way to spend time with your child and meet other families. Join us and be part of something great!
